Stumptown Ventures LLC ("Company", "we", "us") operates the Prediction Pilot platform ("Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use the Service.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and name via our authentication provider, Clerk. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled entirely by Clerk.
If you choose to connect your Kalshi account, you provide your Kalshi API key and private key. These are encrypted with AES-256 (Fernet symmetric encryption) before storage and are used exclusively in read-only mode to fetch your portfolio, positions, and trade history for display in the Service. The Service does not use your credentials to place trades or modify your account. We do not have access to your Kalshi password or account funds.
We store records of scanner queries, filter configurations, backtest results, and any trades tracked through the Service (tickers, prices, quantities, timestamps, and settlement outcomes) to display your dashboard and calculate performance metrics.
When you use the AI Strategy Builder, your text descriptions are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. We may retain AI query logs for service improvement. No personally identifiable information is included in AI API calls unless you type it into the prompt.
Your scanner parameters, filter settings, ranking weights, and strategy configurations are stored in our database.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other payment credentials. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
We collect standard usage data including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, features used, and timestamps for security monitoring and service improvement.
We collect referral source, landing page, and UTM campaign parameters to understand how users discover the Service. This data is associated with your account.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share data with data brokers or advertising networks. We share data only with the following service providers, solely for the purposes described:
We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, subpoena, or governmental request, or to protect our legal rights, enforce our Terms, or prevent fraud or security threats.
No system is 100% secure. While we implement industry-standard security measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and Kalshi API keys.

We have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the preceding 12 months.

We use essential cookies for authentication (via Clerk) and session management. We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how features are used and improve the product. PostHog does not serve advertising or sell data. We do not use advertising cookies or behavioral targeting. Stripe may set cookies for payment processing and fraud prevention.
The Service is not directed to persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. Kalshi requires users to be 18 or older. If we learn that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer. We do not specifically target users outside the United States.
We do not track users across third-party websites. We do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals because we do not engage in the tracking that DNT is designed to prevent.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email at least 30 days before taking effect. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
