Why metered, not tiered

Most SaaS pricing locks features behind plan upgrades — basic / pro / enterprise. Prediction Pilot doesn't. Every feature the AI can do — backtests, arbitrage scans, position tracking, weather forecast overlays, settlement-rule lookups — is available the moment you sign up. The trial just gives you fewer messages; the paid tier gives you more.

The reason is honesty: charging more for "advanced features" usually means making the basic tier worse on purpose. We'd rather price the actual cost of running the AI for you, transparently, and let you decide how much to use.

What's a "message"
A single question to the AI. A typical message uses 4,000-6,000 tokens including the AI's tool calls and response. 2.5M tokens works out to roughly 400-500 messages per month for most users.
What's overage
If you blow through 2.5M tokens before the month is up, additional usage is metered at $10 per million tokens of credits. You set a soft cap (default $10) for a warning and a hard cap (default $25) to lock out chat until you raise it.
No Kalshi fees here
Trading on Kalshi has its own per-contract fees (capped at 1.75¢ per contract). Prediction Pilot is separate — we don't take any cut of your trades, and we don't have a markup on Kalshi's order routing.
Margin transparency
$14/mo at 2.5M tokens prices in roughly 79% gross margin at typical use and ~41% at the cap, at our AI provider's token rates. We don't make money on inactivity; cancel anytime and stop paying immediately.

Frequently asked

Can I pay by credit card or only crypto? Standard credit cards via Stripe. No crypto required (Kalshi itself runs on USD, so we figured matching that was the right call).

Is there an annual discount? Not yet. The monthly price is already as low as we can sensibly run it.

What happens to my saved strategies if I cancel? They stay saved in your account. They just stop scanning until you resubscribe.

Do you offer refunds? If you cancel mid-month, you keep access until the period ends. We don't pro-rate refunds for unused tokens.

Is there a team / multi-user plan? Not yet. Each account is single-user. If you want shared scans across a team, contact us.

What the price doesn't buy you

For full transparency about what Prediction Pilot is not: it does not place trades automatically, give financial advice, or guarantee profitable outcomes. The favorite-longshot bias has historically returned 1.5-2.4% per trade on Kalshi — historically. Past performance does not predict future returns. The price you pay buys faster, better-informed decisions; the trades themselves are your call.
